Yin Yang yoga class, Sunday 9th March, 11:00-12:30 @ Nieuwe Sint Jansstraat 35

Good evening yoga friends! I’m excited to share with you that this coming Sunday 9th March at 11:00-12:30 (Nieuwe Sint Jansstraat 35), @Christa and I will co-teach a special 90 minute yin/yang class!

Yin/Yang yoga is all about finding a balance between our inner sun and moon, or, between effort and ease. In the first part of the class, we will generate ascending prana (energy) by engaging our body in a dynamic, warming asana practice. We call this Yang. We then transition to a gentle Yin practice, where we allow our bodies to release and let go of all effort. As the heat leaves our bodies, we can experience the flow of apana (descending energy), which brings us into a state of natural rest.

We are excited to share pranayama, asana, meditation, music and mantra singing! We hope to see you there, and please feel welcome to invite friends 🙏✨

This class is suitable for all regardless of yoga experience, we welcome beginners and dedicated practitioners alike. Please bring a yoga mat, and yoga blocks if you have them (if not, we have some for you to use at the space).

The class is donation based, via cash or tikkie. Your donations are what keep this community going! We value any contribution, no matter how small, and every little helps. If donation is not possible for you right now, please speak to us, we are here to accommodate you 🙂

Please arrive a few minutes early to set up, so that we can start at 11:00 together. You are welcome in the space anytime from 10:40 to relax in silence, meditate or drink some tea before the class. If you arrive after 11:00 and the front door is locked, you can ring the doorbells (all of them) or knock on the side door on Agricolastraat and we will let you in 🙏
