Good morning yoga friends! This coming Sunday 16th March, from 11.00-12.30, at Nieuwe Sint Jansstraat 35, you are invited to join me for a juicy 90 minute Yin Yang yoga class 🌕☀️
Yin Yang is a yoga style where we play with the energies of the sun and the moon (full moon on Friday ;)). In the first half of the class, we will practice warming pranayama and move through a dynamic asana sequence to build some heat/energy/Yang in the body. In the second part of the class, we practice Yin postures. In Yin, we invite our bodies to fully rest by consciously releasing our muscles using our breath, while gravity gently stretches us.
We close our practice with a long savasana (corpse pose) to allow our yin/yang energies to integrate 🌝🌚
This class is suitable for all, regardless of yoga experience, and I invite you to bring friends if you would like. Tea will be available 🍵 for this class you need your yoga mat, and if you have them, two yoga blocks (otherwise we have some at the space for you to use). You are welcome to bring extra blankets/pillows for your yin practice if you would like.
Please arrive a few minutes early to set up if possible, so that we can start at 11:00 together. You are welcome in the space anytime from 10:40 to relax in silence, meditate or drink some tea before the class
Our classes are donation based. You may donate via tikkie for with cash at the end of class. Your donations are what keep our community going and every little helps!
