Angelos Konstantinidis

My yoga journey began in my hometown of Drama, Greece, under the guidance of Alexia Koletsou. I started my practice a few years before commencing my PhD, and I often say that my daily routine on the mat became my anchor—supporting me mentally, spiritually, and physically throughout the long and demanding journey of doctoral studies.

During my PhD in Barcelona, I was fortunate to deepen my practice, primarily in Ashtanga, with wonderful teachers including Fito Auad, Yasmina EspelosínPat Prada, and Elena Figarola. I also explored Yoga-Marga with Margherita Angelozzi. Later, in the Netherlands, I continued my learning in classes taught by Adarsh Williams, Daniela Gfeller and Sarah Jane. I carry the wisdom of all my teachers, and what I learned from them, deep in my heart ❤️

My formal training journey took me to India. In 2023, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course at Devvrat Yoga School in Varkala. Most recently, in December 2024, I returned to India to deepen my journey into sound, completing an intensive 60-hour Sound Healing Therapy training (Levels 1-4) in Rishikesh under the insightful guidance of Disha Ji.

My personal practice is mainly rooted in Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, and Kundalini. When I teach, I draw from these traditions, as well as the transformative power of sound, to carefully select postures and sequences that will bring the most benefit and nourishment to everyone in the class. I also provide sound healing therapy sessions, which I offer primarily in group settings to allow for a shared experience of deep relaxation and restoration.
