We will have a yoga class on Tuesday 7 March, 20:15 in the gym at Metaallaan 255. In this class we will practice easy postures that are appropriate for beginners, so do not worry about your flexibility or strength. Additionally, variations for each posture will be demonstrated during the class for participants who address some injury or physical disability and cannot perform the particular posture. While the pace is slow and the postures are easy, the class can be quite challenging in terms of physical effort needed, depending on the level of engagement with each posture.

I will be sharing a Kundalini Yoga class again on Tuesday 28 February, 20:15 at Metaallaan 255.

It is going to be a gentle but strong class opening up our 5th chakra: our throat.

Speaking our truth from our HEARTS, setting healthy boundaries & communicating our needs🀍 is so important!

I hope to welcome many of you on the mat (I know kundalini can bring up resistance). But that’s a good sign!

In this class I will guide you through most of the asanas of the ashtanga half primary series, avoiding those that are too advanced for the group to perform. I will also demonstrate alternative and easier postures during the class so as everyone can participate and take benefit.

Yoga class Tuesday 13 December, 20:15 @ Metaallaan 255

Dear yogis!

We feel this is a busy month for everybody, lots of sickness going around. I hope everybody is coping with these icy temperatures! Last minute we decided I could share a yoga class tomorrow night if people are interested! I will guide you through a slow vinyasa sequence to keep the body warm and do some nice stretches. We will finish in a guided savasana by handpan.

Please bring a blanket and layers of clothes if you are planning to join the class.

Yoga class Sunday 27 November, 15:30 @ Metaallaan 255

Good morning dear yogis!

This Sunday, 27th November, from 15:30-17:00 o’clock I’ll be sharing a yoga workshop at Metaallaan 255.

We will do pranayama, asanas and Thai yogic stretches. It will be a mix of Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga.

The only prop besides your yoga mat that you need to bring is a blanket, that you can also role up as a bolster. A scarf is to thin, we will use it as support in some postures. If you get distracted easy a blindfold/scarf might come handy during pranayama.

For after the workshop I’ll bring some brownies and tea! If you have a thermo bottle that you could bring, your favourite tea and cup that would be amazing.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts (15:20) so that at 15:30 we can all start quietly with our pranayama.
